Encore Blog Post

A couple of people have asked "Why are there no more blog posts?" or similar.
The answer is "Because the four theme parks in Orlando were the last place I went."
But here's one final short post for you all anyway.

Theme Parks

There are no less than 15 theme parks in Orlando; one day I hope to go back and visit them all... including the undoubtedly thrilling "Holy Land Experience". This time around, we did four of them.

San Antonio

Earlier in the trip, we were chatting with a woman who had lived in San Antonio. When we mentioned it as one of the places we were going she paused and said "Hmm, I'm not sure what you're going to do there."
This may be my longest entry so far... we found plenty to do!

Heading South

From Monument Valley it was several days of driving. To Albuquerque, then to Roswell, then to San Antonio. Yay! Driving!

The Desert

Think of desert, and you probably think of rolling sand dunes and/or the flat endless deserts of Australia. But there's some impressive landscapes, and some cool things to be seen in this part of the world.

Las Vegas

Overall result for the group from gambling in Vegas: $5.10 ahead!
